Tags, Bags, Boxes & More
Thought I would do one last tag holder for Christmas. This one is done with the Penguin from Create a Critter with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I am entering this one in Cardz TV Challenge #98. Enjoy!
Here are the supplies.
Cartridges used: Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and Create a Critter
Here is the first tag holder I made last week.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great one here but it always goes by so fast. I’m still in a pinkish mood and wanted to create something for a challenge. So, I thought I would give Flaunt it Fridays a chance. Our challenge was to create something with the turtle from the Create a Critter cartridge but not to make a card. Well, cards are what I like to create. So, this one was a real challenge for me. After a few different designs on my Gypsy, I finally decided to go with a tag. Enjoy!

I had been watching Tim Holtz and many other crafters making Christmas tags, so I had to give one a try myself. The inspiration for this tag was a Peachy Keen Face it Friday Challenge. The challenge is to create a project using a lunch bag. So, I decided to make the tag itself out of a lunch bag. Lunch bags are pretty thin, so I first glued a brown paper lunch bag to a piece of white cardstock. Then I cut the tag shape out using my Gypsy, Cricut, and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge. Once the tag was cut out, I used a rubber stamp I just got from the craft store that had a bunch of writing on it. I wanted my tag to look vintage. So, I inked it up with Tim Holtz distressing ink. My crow was cut using the Jolly Holidays cartridge (I just love this cartridge). I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face (my absolute most favorite stamps in the whole wide world). I do not have the set with the side profile on it so I had to improvise. I just inked up one eye from the Everyday Assortment Stamps in white. I use a feather boa on the hat. The sentiment is from a dollar Studio G stamp. I ordered some My Pink Stamper Christmas sentiment stamps but they haven’t arrived yet. I cannot wait for them to come in so I can use them. Hope you enjoy my tag.
