I’m so excited — my Imagine arrived today! Yippee! I had to work today so I had to wait till I got home at 6:30 pm to play. I did a quick card for you all. All cuts and prints except for the card base were made on my Imagine using the Blossom Imagine cartridge and the Sweet Treats cartridge. I designed this card for the My Pink Stamper Challenge which was to make something Super Yummy on your Imagine, and ice cream is definitely yummy! I’m so excited that I can join in on all the Imagine challenges now.
The Imagine was super easy to use. I just wish the Gypsy would sync with the Imagine carts. I hear that the Gypsy software is in Beta that will do this. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m also excited for the release of Cricut CraftRoom by PC which will be a free internet app to design for both the Imagine and the Cricut on your computer, which was announced at CHA this week. It looks like an awesome program!
Enjoy!

Congrats ladies! Looking forward to seeing all your awesome projects in the coming months!
Wow, I actually got in two cards today =) This one was created specially for MoMo’s Tuesday Challenge. She challenged us to make a card with a princess theme. I decided to make a princess of the flowers and named her Princess Flora. The princess is from the Simply Charmed cartridge — what a super cute cartridge. This is the first cut I made from it but I can see myself using this one often! Using my Gypsy, I created a shaped card using the weld feature. I use a sheer fabric on the dress and my absolute favorite stamps – Peachy Keen — for the face. Hope you enjoy!
Recipe:
- Cartridge: Simply Charmed
- Gypsy
- Stamps: Peachy Keen Princess Faces
- Ink: Staz On, Tim Holtz Distressed Pealed Paint and Red Lipstick, Stampin Up Peach
- Cardstock: Green, pink, peach, black, white
- Embellishments: iRock gems; Recollection gems
- Adhesives: ATG, Zig 2 Way, Zip Dry
Hello everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a busy one here but I did manage to squeeze in some time today to craft. We spent yesterday at the barn with our new horse, Honey. Sara had a gymnastic meet this morning and did good, getting two medals and her team won first place! Watching the Steeler game right now. Go Steelers!
I had recently bought the Pagoda cartridge at M’s for $9.99 and was itching to use it. When I saw that Crafting with Cristina was having a black, white, and gray color challenge, I knew I had to use this cartridge. I created a joy fold card which I learned how to make from Mary at Cardz TV (thanks Mary!). I really enjoyed making this card and I think it turned out awesome! Hope you enjoy it!
Recipe:
- Cartridge: Pagoda, Fabulous Finds (tag)
- Cardstock: Black and white
- Sentiment: I created on my computer using Word
- Designer paper: Open stock; sorry, I cannot remember from where
- Embellishments: Recollection white pearls
- Adhesives: ATG, Zig 2 Way; Pop
I had to resist from putting a read heart in the panda’s hands as this was a color challenge but I think that would be an awesome addition to this card.
Hi everyone! Hope you all are staying nice an warm. We got hit by a big snow storm today which cancelled school for my girls. So, we decided to make a card this evening. My daughter just loves cupcakes so that was the basis of our card. I like this one so much that I’m entering it into two contests (1) Peachy Keen Lets Face it Fridays where we have to make a thank you card with a PK face stamp and (2) Pink by Design Team challenge where we had to make a card with a stamp sentiment for a chance to be part of Sara’s design team. How exciting!!
- Peachy Keen Princess Faces stamp
- Gypsy for welding
- Recollections pearls
- Sentiment stamp from Stampendous!
- Pink, black, red, dark brown cardstock
- Red Stickles
- Red ribbon
- Cupcake charm / button from Dress It Up
- Red and white gelly roll pens
- Black, blue, and pink ink
- Adhesive (ATG, Zots, Zig 2 Way)
Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day. I had a great time with my youngest daughter today. We shopped at Michaels, then she had 3 hours of gymnastic practice, then we at lunch, then she had a 1 hour gymnastic private lesson, then we did more shopping.
Thought I’d share with you my finds from this week. This was a big week for me for Cricut cartridges. As you probably have heard, Michaels has their clearance Circut cartridges marked down to $9.99 today. Wow, I’ve never seen such low prices — not even on eBay. I was able to pick up 6 new cartridges there. They are the bottom 6 on the picture below. This week, I also receive my CricutMachine.com order. They had cartridges on sale for $14.95. I got Simply Charmed and Forever Young. Also, my free Sampler cartridge arrived from CricutMachine. There was a mixup with the Post Office and they shipped my cartridge back with an address not found. CricutMachine was so nice and mailed it back to us! My final cartridges were eBay wins. Yes, I got more Imagine cartridges and I don’t even have one yet..lol. I’m still waiting for them to go on sale at HSN for $399 so I can use my 15% coupon — but it’s really hard waiting. I won the Best Friends cartridge for $10.50 (awesome) and the Nursery Tails for $13.
Lastly, I stopped at JoAnns earlier this week and picked up a few items on clearance. The cardstock was less than $2; the two DCWV glitter mini stacks were $2.99 each and the bell trim was $1 (marked down from $10). Cannot wait to use the bells on a card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having a Design Team Challenge. How exciting! She is filling the last two spots on her design team with this challenge. The challenge is to create a project of your choice using your favorite cartridge and Robyn’s favorite colors of pink, brown, and green plus one other color of our choice (I chose red as my other color). My favorite cartridge is Create a Critter. All of the critters on it are just so darn adorable. I love pink and brown, so the color scheme was an easy one for me. I used my two favorite stamps — Peachy Keen and My Pink Stamper. I think it came out super, super cute. It would be soooo awesome to be selected as part of the MPS design team! I’m keeping my fingers crossed and my toes too!
