Hi everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day. It rained all day for us. All the rain allowed me to spend some much need time cleaning my house and crafting in my craft room. I was up for another challenge, so I decided to do another Peachy Keen challenge – this time it was for the Let’s Face it Friday challenge. Our challenge was to create a school related project to give to a teacher. I was dying to use my new Webster’s papers so I decided to do a vintage notebook and flower pencil. This is my first project with Websters Pages paper and I must confess, I love, love, love their papers!! They even had some vintage school themed papers in my 6×6 kit….woot! I used my favorite PK stamps — the Everyday Faces. Cannot go wrong with that set! Check out my video to see all the products used in this project as well as how to create the flower pencil. Enjoy!

I apologize for the quality of the following pictures. It rained all day (actually for the past several days) and I couldn’t get outside to take pictures in the sunlight.
Hi everyone! School is back in session — can you believe it! Where did the summer go??? Well it’s official, I no longer have any children in elementary school. My youngest started Junior High last week. She absolutely loves Junior High. Wow, she is so grown up now. Even though school has just started, I wanted to share with you a card I made for graduation. I used the cowgirl boot on the Old West cartridge and welded it on my Gypsy. I inked everything up with Walnut distressed ink from Tim Holtz. The boot image on the inside of the card came from the internet and I colored it with my Copics. I loooooove my Copics and have quickly become addicted to them! I’m entering this card in Crafty Sprouts shape card challenge. Wish me luck!
