Hi everyone, I’m super excited to share with you my very first card made from MFT stamps. Isn’t this girl super cute! This stamp set made it super easy to create a sympathy card — which are usually very hard for me to do. I just love how it turned out. I colored her using my Copics and I got to use my new Webster’s Pages as well as my I am Roses. Here is a video of my card. I’m entering this in MFT’s Wednesday Stamp Challenge #78. Have a totally twisted day!
I’m also entering this card in the following challenges:

Hi everyone! I’m super excited because my first shipment of I Am Roses came in. OMG are they beautiful!! I’m definitely putting in another order very soon and I know I’m going to be going thru these flowers like crazy. I just want to put them on everything. In fact, I just had to put them on my MTF WSC #70 submission. Here is the sketch we had to follow.
Here is my card.
Here is a video of my I am Roses Haul and the card. Enjoy!

Wow, it’s Christmas Eve already! I hope all of you are ready for the big day tomorrow. I just tucked my girls into bed and I still have presents to wrap. I did manage to squeeze in another Christmas card today. My Scrap Chick recently had this freebie Elf on a Shelf cut available. I thought it was sooo cute and I knew of the perfect Peachy Keen face to go with it. I also wanted to give quilling a try so I created the flower on the card using Cricut’s quilliing die in my Cuttlebug. I also used Spellbinders Die Nestabilities Squares Lacey. I’m entering this card into Peachy Keen’s Sketch with a Twist Challenge. The challenge was very simple. We could create anything we want but we had to use a Peachy Keen stamp.
Merry Christmas !
Hi everyone! Hope you all found some awesome Black Friday deals. I know I scored at JoAnns (Nestibilities, DCWV & Recollection stacks, Cricut cartridges, and jewelry making supplies) and at Michaels (DCWV stacks, Jewelry beads, Cuttlebug quilled kits, Recollection bling and embellishments). I couldn’t believe the deals when you took advantage of the regular sales of 40% to 50% off and then another 25% to 30% on top of that. I was getting $20 items for $7! Oh, just in case you are wondering, I did pick up some non-crafty deals at other stores…lol.
All that craft shopping put me in the mood to craft. So I designed a card for Peachy Keen’s Sketch with a Twist. Since the Cricut Craft Room is open, I thought I’d give it another try. I tried it when it was in beta but it just kept crashing. This time I had no problems designing my card. However, it all went down hill when I tried to print and cut with my Imagine <sighs>. It would print but no matter what I did, it wouldn’t cut. I need to do some research to see if anyone else has had that problem and how they fixed it. If you have any guidance, please leave a comment. I’d really love to see how the CCR is working for you. I think the CCR will be great once I get past this cutting hurdle.
So, here is my Card. It was a real challenge but by sticking with the paper pallet in the Mr. Frosty Imagine cartridge helped keep the color scheme in check. I used the adorable PK-M21 Donna Rae Penguin. I used my Copics to color him in and then paper pierced him with paper from the Mr. Frosty cartridge. I couldn’t help but bling it all up to put the final touches on it.
Here are shots of my design in CCR. The blocks on the right were for the paper piercing of the hat and vest. I wasn’t sure which pattern I was going to use so I printed a few different ones. Since it wouldn’t print, I wound up using my Nestibilities instead of the ovals in the design.
Here is one of the papers after printing/cutting it my my Imagine. This was my second try. As you can see, it printed but didn’t cut. =(

I was working on my Christmas cards again today. Looking for some inspiration and wanting to do a couple of challenges, I turned to Peachy Keen Sketch with a Twist challenge and the My Creative Time Throwback Thursday challenge. Combining the two challenges along with my Christmas theme, I came up with the cutest card. The Peachy Keen face is what makes it sooooo cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out!
The stick pin is one of handmade pins. I had several requests for a tutorial on how to do them. So, I created a tutorial today for you all.
When making the card, I started stressing because I didn’t have any red gems on hand. Then it hit me, I could color some red with my Copics. I’m just loving the Copic markers!! Below are the items used in my card.
- Cricut Cartridge – Create a Critter
- Copics YR04, YR07, R29, R20, 0
- Peachy Keen face stamp PK-M21 – Donna Rae Penguin (stamped on the inside of the card)
- Peachy Keen image stamp PK-521 – Winter Faces
- Cuttlebug folder (sorry I do not know the name of it)
- DCWV designer paper – The Merry Christmas Stack
- Spellbinders Nestabilities – Blossom Two
- Studio G Ribbon
- Gems (painted red with Copic)
- Handmade stick pin (see my video above)
- Tim Holtz Withered Wood distress ink
- Cardstock – white, black, orange, red, gray
- Dimensional adhesive

I cannot believe that this is the final day of my guest designer week! I’m so grateful that Peachy Keen has given me such a wonderful opportunity to create projects with their awesome stamps and to share them with all of you Thank you Peachy Keen and thanks to everyone that followed along all week! I love reading your comments.
Today is Let’s Face It Friday so for the challenge I got to create a design team sample for you. Your challenge is to create a page or card using a PK face stamp that holds your favorite holiday recipe. So, I created the following card. I was dying to create some gingerbread people with PK-521 Winter Faces. Most of the paper is DCWV — except for the green paper on the inside of the card for which I used the Mr. Frosty Imagine cartridge to make the paper. I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge for the gingerbread people and the Storybook cartridge to weld together two shapes to make the shaped card. I finished it up with a little Copic coloring and some bling. I hope you enjoy it. I cannot wait to see what you create for the challenge. Don’t forget to link it up on PK’s challenge page before the deadline.
Today is the last day you can enter to win the Peachy Keen stamps below. Peachy Keen has been so gracious to let me give them away.
