Hi everyone. My charms from the Vintage Lady swap arrive so I made a video of them to share with you. Thanks ladies for such a wonderful swap!
I was so excited about my Papertrey Inc. haul that I had to make a quick card using one of their stamp and die sets. This card was easy to make. I love these stamps! Enjoy!
Here is a quick haul of some crafty supplies I picked up over the last week or so. Enjoy!
Well after stocking the charm swap sites and watching numerous charm swap videos on YT, I finally jumped in and joined a swap. I decided to join the Vintage Lady swivel clasp swap over on Life on the Scrap Beach. The requirement was to create 4 charms. Each swivel charm was to have have at least 9 dangles and 3 metal charms. I had so much fun creating my charms that I went overboard and have 13 dangles. We also had to make a tag for our charms. Here are the charms that I made. I cannot wait to receive my swap in the mail. Guess it is time to stock the mailman…lol
This week was my hubby’s birthday. I have such a hard time with masculine cards. I love to create cute crafty projects and glitz them up. Cannot do that with a masculine card. I just bough some Bo Bunny paper so I was excited to give the paper line a try. I used the Welcome Home Collection. These papers worked well in my masculine card. I kept the lines clean and simple and I resisted the temptation to glitz it up. I inked up all the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distresser ink. I cannot say enough how much inking the edges makes to a project look better. The sentiment on the front of the card is just something I typed up on my laptop and printed on cream cardstock. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
- Designer Paper: Bo Bunny, Welcome Home Collection
- Die: Nestabilities, Lacey Squares
- Cardstock: Dark chocolate & cream
- Button & embossing thread
- Ribbon: Martha Stewart decorative tape
- Sentiment on inside of card: My Favorite Things, Fresh, fun and distinctive clear stamps
- Adhesives: ATG & dimensional
- Ink: Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distresser, Black Stayz On
When I saw this freebie cut from SVG Cuts, I knew it had my dad’s birthday card written all over it and his birthday is in just a couple weeks. He loves to fish so this was perfect. I added the SVG Cuts fishing lure (also a freebie) to the vest also. I gave the lures more depth by adding feathers to them. I love how SVG Cuts included a gate card cut with this freebie. I used Recollections cardstock and I flocked the parts where the lures are with gray Martha Stewart flocking. Have a totally twisted day!
I’m super excited to share with you today a 3D project I made from SVG Cuts’ Bundle of Joy set! This super cute baby buggy was so easy to make. The hardest part for me was figuring out which designer papers to use. I wound up having to buy a baby boy stack as I don’t have any baby boy papers (can you believe that). But, who really needs an excuse to buy new paper pads….lol. I needed a gift card holder for a friend’s new baby boy and this buggy is perfect for holding a gift card. Check out my video to see all the products I used and check out SVG Cuts for some really great cut files. Enjoy!
