I’m super excited to show all of you the charms and spell book I made for a charm swap over at Life on the Scrapbeach!  Right from the start I knew I wanted to do a spell book as the display for my charms and I wanted the spell book to look really old.  It was Tim Holtz distressing ink and a paper lunch bag to the rescue!

Ten years ago today I married the love of my life!  It’s been the best 10 years of my life and I couldn’t imagine my life without him.  He’s been there through the good and the bad and has backed me up on my decisions.  He is my rock!  Happy anniversary hubby.  I love you!

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for CardzTV Challenge #111.  In this challenge we had to make a summer themed card using our Cricut.  I really wanted to do a card with dimensional flip flops on it but I don’t own the Life is a Beach cartridge.  So I searched the internet and found a free SVG from Shery K Design.  I love this cut and I was able to transform the flip flops into a cut with some dimension to it.  To meet the requirement of using my Cricut to create the card, I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge for the flowers and the Elegant Edges for the scalloped square.  I kept the colors bright and cheery. The card wouldn’t have been complete if I didn’t include a button on the card for Mary!  I’ve included a video of how to make this card, including the flip flops with flowers.

I’m also entering this card in the following challenges:

I cannot believe another school year is over.  Time is really flying by soooo fast.  Thought I would share with you a card I made for a recent graduate in our family.  I decided to do a card old-school style and didn’t use a Cricut.  Rather, I used my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities and fussy cut the graduation cap from the paper stack.   The paper is DCWV.

.  I love the black, white, and silver colors!

Hi everyone.  It’s been a little while since I’ve done a scrapbook layout page so I thought I would do one.  M’s had a really neat scrapbook page stand and it inspired me to create this page of my beautiful daughter.  I purchased the stand at M’s for 50% off.  This layout was made using some of my Wesbsters Pages.  Hope you enjoy my video.

I realized that I made a video of my Webster’s warehouse haul but never uploaded it to YouTube so here it is using the collection from the papers I used in the layout above.  Have a totally twisted day!

Thought I’d make a card today using some of my most favorite crafting supplies:  (1) My Scrap Chick svgs, (2) Peachy Keen Stamps, and (3) I am Roses.  This super cute skunk is from My Scrap Chick.  I love their cuts!  I stamped a super cute face on it using a Peachy Keen face assortment stamp.  I recently picked up four new face assortment sets. So I was itching to use one of my new ones.  For the banners, I used a Pepsi can.  Yup, you heard me right.  I cut open an empty, cleaned Pepsi can and use it as my sheet metal.  I Cuttlebugged the Pepsi can metal using a herringbone folder.   I think it turned out cool!  I then topped the banner with some cherry blossoms from I Am Roses.  For the sentiment, I just typed up the saying on my computer and printed it out.  I am entering this in Peachy Keen’s Stamp Challenge 22 and in the Paper Playtime say it with a sentiment anything goes challenge.

Hi everyone!  I’m super excited because my first shipment of I Am Roses came in.  OMG are they beautiful!! I’m definitely putting in another order very soon and I know I’m going to be going thru these flowers like crazy.  I just want to put them on everything.  In fact, I just had to put them on my MTF WSC #70 submission.  Here is the sketch we had to follow.

Here is my card.

Here is a video of my I am Roses Haul and the card.  Enjoy!

Wow, it’s Christmas Eve already!  I hope all of you are ready for the big day tomorrow.  I just tucked my girls into bed and I still have presents to wrap.  I did manage to squeeze in another Christmas card today.  My Scrap Chick recently had this freebie Elf on a Shelf cut available.  I thought it was sooo cute and I knew of the perfect Peachy Keen face to go with it.  I also wanted to give quilling a try so I created the flower on the card using Cricut’s quilliing die in my Cuttlebug. I also used Spellbinders Die Nestabilities Squares Lacey.  I’m entering this card into Peachy Keen’s Sketch with a Twist Challenge.  The challenge was very simple.  We could create anything we want but we had to use a Peachy Keen stamp.

Merry Christmas !

How’s everyone doing tonight?  Hopefully you are all getting your Christmas shopping done.  Cannot believe it’s Christmas in just a few days.  My husband has a woodworking hobby and makes pens and pencils among other wood crafts.  He asked that I make a pencil holder for a few of his pens.  So, I decided that I would create one with the Peachy Keen Let’s Face It Friday Challenge in mind.  The challenge was to create a project using a Peachy Keen face stamp and fabric.  I used my Gypsy and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge as well as my new 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge. For the finishing touches, I added the perfect Peachy Keen face.  For the fabric requirement, I created one of my silk flowers.  I love making these.   So addictive.  You can check out one of my previous videos on how to make these flowers.  It’s super simple.  Enjoy!

I have a really cute card for you today.  The adorable bear snowboarder came from My Scrap Chick.  Isn’t she the cutest!!  The card was created for one of my daughter’s friends who celebrated her 14th birthday.  I was under strict rules from my daughter not to use pink….lol.  This card could easily be converted to a very cute Christmas card.

I used my favorite face stamps – Peachy Keen PK-135 Medium Bear Facial Features.  This card wouldn’t been the same without such a cute face.  I colored in the face with my Copics.  Then I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the snowflakes in a piece of white card stock.  The top and bottom borders are from the DCWV Christmas stack.  I finished it off with some bling.  Enjoy!
