Hi everyone! Hope you all found some awesome Black Friday deals. I know I scored at JoAnns (Nestibilities, DCWV & Recollection stacks, Cricut cartridges, and jewelry making supplies) and at Michaels (DCWV stacks, Jewelry beads, Cuttlebug quilled kits, Recollection bling and embellishments). I couldn’t believe the deals when you took advantage of the regular sales of 40% to 50% off and then another 25% to 30% on top of that. I was getting $20 items for $7! Oh, just in case you are wondering, I did pick up some non-crafty deals at other stores…lol.
All that craft shopping put me in the mood to craft. So I designed a card for Peachy Keen’s Sketch with a Twist. Since the Cricut Craft Room is open, I thought I’d give it another try. I tried it when it was in beta but it just kept crashing. This time I had no problems designing my card. However, it all went down hill when I tried to print and cut with my Imagine <sighs>. It would print but no matter what I did, it wouldn’t cut. I need to do some research to see if anyone else has had that problem and how they fixed it. If you have any guidance, please leave a comment. I’d really love to see how the CCR is working for you. I think the CCR will be great once I get past this cutting hurdle.
So, here is my Card. It was a real challenge but by sticking with the paper pallet in the Mr. Frosty Imagine cartridge helped keep the color scheme in check. I used the adorable PK-M21 Donna Rae Penguin. I used my Copics to color him in and then paper pierced him with paper from the Mr. Frosty cartridge. I couldn’t help but bling it all up to put the final touches on it.
Here are shots of my design in CCR. The blocks on the right were for the paper piercing of the hat and vest. I wasn’t sure which pattern I was going to use so I printed a few different ones. Since it wouldn’t print, I wound up using my Nestibilities instead of the ovals in the design.
Here is one of the papers after printing/cutting it my my Imagine. This was my second try. As you can see, it printed but didn’t cut. =(

Happy Veterans Day everyone! I wanted to give a special thanks to all the men and women that serve our country. Thank you for keeping us safe and for protecting our great nation!
I cannot believe that this is the final day of my guest designer week! I’m so grateful that Peachy Keen has given me such a wonderful opportunity to create projects with their awesome stamps and to share them with all of you Thank you Peachy Keen and thanks to everyone that followed along all week! I love reading your comments.
Today is Let’s Face It Friday so for the challenge I got to create a design team sample for you. Your challenge is to create a page or card using a PK face stamp that holds your favorite holiday recipe. So, I created the following card. I was dying to create some gingerbread people with PK-521 Winter Faces. Most of the paper is DCWV — except for the green paper on the inside of the card for which I used the Mr. Frosty Imagine cartridge to make the paper. I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge for the gingerbread people and the Storybook cartridge to weld together two shapes to make the shaped card. I finished it up with a little Copic coloring and some bling. I hope you enjoy it. I cannot wait to see what you create for the challenge. Don’t forget to link it up on PK’s challenge page before the deadline.
Today is the last day you can enter to win the Peachy Keen stamps below. Peachy Keen has been so gracious to let me give them away. All you have to do is leave a comment on any of my Peachy Keen guest designer blog posts this week. The more posts you comment on, the better your chances to win. Don’t forget to head on over to Peachy Keen’s blog and leave me comments there too. If you like my blog, I’d love to have you as a follower. One lucky commenter will win both stamp sets. Winner will be announced on Saturday. Good luck!

Hi everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful day!! Are you ready for another installment of my Imagine More Cards series? For part four, I decided to do a super, super quick elegant birthday card. I just love how quick and easy the Imagine makes card making. Enjoy….
Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope you all are having a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been having a lot of fun with my daughters and the horses this weekend.
For Part 3 of my Imagine More series I did another super quick but super cute birthday card. I just love breaking the images apart and coming up with something new. Enjoy!
Hi everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My youngest daughter had her very first music recital yesterday. She plays the electric guitar and had a solo. She did awesome!! She played an Eric Clapton song flawlessly. I’m so proud of her!!
For part 2 of the Imagine More Cards series I did a quick birthday card. I’m just loving this cartridge. You can whip out a card so quickly and they look awesome. It’s great for when I’ve exhaused my card stash and I figure out I have a birthday and not much time to make a card. Enjoy!
Hi everyone! I decided to do a video series. This is my first series. I bought the Imagine More Cards cartridge a couple weeks ago and it’s quickly become my favorite Imagine card (for now). You can whip out cards pretty quickly with this cartridge. The series will start with a Mother’s day card and then I plan on doing three birthday cards and then ending with a gift bag. The first video is below. Stop back later to see the rest of the series.

Thanks so much for watching!
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend. I finally got a chance to make a video update of my craft room — which is long over due. Enjoy!
What a georgious day we had today — it got up to 78 degrees today! Not bad considering it’s been in the 30′s and 40′s lately. My girls were able to play outside most of the day and I had some quiet time in my craft room. I Was going to create my first project on my YuDu I just purchased (M’s for $99) but instead, I wound up cleaning a couple shelved in my closet to store the YuDu and all my paper stacks. Then, I created an Easter card.
My first couple of projects on the Imagine didn’t align oh so well. So, today I updated my Imagine to the latest firmware and then re-calibrated it again. That seemed to do the trick. Yay!

I’m entering this card in the following challenges:
Happy Saturday everyone! It’s sunny outside and most of the snow has melted — finally! What a great day to make a sunny card! My youngest daughter needed a birthday card for one of her best friends and I wanted to do a challenge over at Cardz TV so I combined the two of them and came up with this card. Mary’s challenge was to create something springy. So I created this card with my Imagine (only my second project using it) and the Best Friends cartridge. I still need to work on the calibration of the print and cut on my Imagine so if anyone has any suggestions, I would LOVE to hear them. The further down on my page it prints and cuts, the more it is off alignment vertically.

I’m so excited — my Imagine arrived today! Yippee! I had to work today so I had to wait till I got home at 6:30 pm to play. I did a quick card for you all. All cuts and prints except for the card base were made on my Imagine using the Blossom Imagine cartridge and the Sweet Treats cartridge. I designed this card for the My Pink Stamper Challenge which was to make something Super Yummy on your Imagine, and ice cream is definitely yummy! I’m so excited that I can join in on all the Imagine challenges now.
The Imagine was super easy to use. I just wish the Gypsy would sync with the Imagine carts. I hear that the Gypsy software is in Beta that will do this. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m also excited for the release of Cricut CraftRoom by PC which will be a free internet app to design for both the Imagine and the Cricut on your computer, which was announced at CHA this week. It looks like an awesome program!
Enjoy!
