I love, love, love to put door hangers on all the bedroom doors in my house.  I was kinda tired of the ones I had been hanging on them for Valentines Day in the past, so I decided to make one.  I made quilled roses out of a romance novel and then inked the edges of the roses with some Tim Holtz distressed ink.  I added stickpins I made and then topped it off with a charm and a sentiment from Pink by Design.  I absolutely love how it turned out.  Now I need to make one for all the remaining doors. =)

I’m so excited that Sarah Hamer (Pink Cricut)  selected my project to be the featured Pink Linky for this week.  Click on the logo to check out her blog!

Sarah from the Pink Cricut is in love with a pair of cowboy boots and was disappointed when she didn’t get them for Christmas.  So, I’m posting pictures of my boots and my daughter’s boots to help convince Mr. Pink Cricut to buy them for her … Valentines Day is approaching …. lol

Hi everyone.  It was so much fun participating in the Pink by Design Ustream tonight.  I sooo missed participating in them.  We did such a cute project this evening and I wanted to share it with all of you.  It was super easy to create — even though my ATG ran out early into the project — yikes.  I scrambled and found a small mono adhesive which saved the day.  I didn’t have enough time to change out the ATG tape to a new roll.

Don’t forget to check out the new Pink by Design stamps!  Sara did an awesome job once again!

Happy New Year all my crafty friends!  Welcome to 2012.  Today is also my daughter’s birthday — yup, she was a New Years baby 15 years ago.  My how time flies!  Here is the card I made for her.  She loves to snowboard and we live just 15 minutes from a ski resort.  I picked up some Goosebumps the other day at M’s and really wanted to give it a try.  That stuff is neat (but very messy).  Enjoy!

Can you see the Goosebumps on the green matt

Thought I would do one last tag holder for Christmas.  This one is done with the Penguin from Create a Critter with a Peachy Keen face stamp.  I am entering this one in Cardz TV Challenge #98.  Enjoy!

Here are the supplies.

Cartridges used:  Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and Create a Critter

Here is the first tag holder I made last week.

Wow, it’s Christmas Eve already!  I hope all of you are ready for the big day tomorrow.  I just tucked my girls into bed and I still have presents to wrap.  I did manage to squeeze in another Christmas card today.  My Scrap Chick recently had this freebie Elf on a Shelf cut available.  I thought it was sooo cute and I knew of the perfect Peachy Keen face to go with it.  I also wanted to give quilling a try so I created the flower on the card using Cricut’s quilliing die in my Cuttlebug. I also used Spellbinders Die Nestabilities Squares Lacey.  I’m entering this card into Peachy Keen’s Sketch with a Twist Challenge.  The challenge was very simple.  We could create anything we want but we had to use a Peachy Keen stamp.

Merry Christmas !

My Tim Holtz distresser ink collection is growing so I thought it was time that I organized it. I like to use the finger dobbers with my distressers and I recently saw that there was a plastic tray organizer available on the market for them.  I couldn’t find the organizer at my M’s or J’s so I decided to find something close and make it work.  I found this plastic bead container at J’s for less than $5 and the dobbers fit in it!  Yay!  I purchase the dobbers from my J’s too (I need to get more..lol).  I cut a piece of cardstock to fit the lid and inked some samples on it so I know which dobber belongs to which distresser ink pad.  I also labeled all my ink pads with the name on one side and a sample on the other side.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a happy scrappy holiday!

How’s everyone doing tonight?  Hopefully you are all getting your Christmas shopping done.  Cannot believe it’s Christmas in just a few days.  My husband has a woodworking hobby and makes pens and pencils among other wood crafts.  He asked that I make a pencil holder for a few of his pens.  So, I decided that I would create one with the Peachy Keen Let’s Face It Friday Challenge in mind.  The challenge was to create a project using a Peachy Keen face stamp and fabric.  I used my Gypsy and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge as well as my new 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge. For the finishing touches, I added the perfect Peachy Keen face.  For the fabric requirement, I created one of my silk flowers.  I love making these.   So addictive.  You can check out one of my previous videos on how to make these flowers.  It’s super simple.  Enjoy!

I was sooo happy to see the mailman today.  The Copic marker I won from Copic’s blog came today.  I was too excited to see what color they sent me.  And, it was a color I didn’t have — yay!!  Thanks Copic!  I just love, love, love your markers!

Here is my new Copic with my antique Santa.  This was my dad’s Santa ornament when he was young.  I put him on my tree every year.

Here is my Copic collection.  It’s not a large collection but I’m proud of it and I add to it as I can.
